Getting Started
Your first visit
A valid government-issued photo ID showing you are 21 or older. We accept driver's licenses, passports, state IDs, and military IDs. No medical card required. Bring payment (cash or card). The entire process takes 8-20 minutes.
You'll be greeted at the door, your ID will be checked, and a budtender will walk you through the store. Tell them what you're looking for (relaxation, energy, pain relief, sleep) and they'll recommend products. No pressure, no rush.
English, Spanish, Bengali, and Mandarin. Jackson Heights is the most diverse neighborhood in the country, and we serve our community in the languages they speak.
We're open Monday through Sunday, 10AM to 10PM. No appointment needed. Walk in anytime.
Products
Choosing and buying
Start with flower around 15-18% THC, or low-dose edibles (2.5-5mg THC per serving). Tell our budtenders you're new and they'll recommend specific products based on what you're looking for. There's no wrong question.
Indica strains typically produce relaxing, body-heavy effects. Sativa strains tend toward energizing, cerebral effects. Hybrids blend both. But terpene profiles often matter more than the indica/sativa label. Ask our staff to guide you by desired effect instead.
Every product we sell has been tested by a third-party lab for cannabinoid content, terpenes, pesticides, heavy metals, and contaminants. Lab results are available in-store and meet all NYS OCM requirements.
Cash, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and debit cards. We have an ATM on-site for cash withdrawals. Tips are appreciated but never expected.

Yes. Purple Buds operates under OCM license OCM-RETL-25-000449 issued by the New York State Office of Cannabis Management. Every product is lab-tested and tracked through the state's seed-to-sale system.
Under New York law, adults 21+ can purchase up to 3 ounces of cannabis flower or up to 24 grams of concentrated cannabis at a time.
No. Cannabis cannot be consumed on our premises. New York law also prohibits public consumption in most areas. Consume responsibly in private residences.
No. New York allows recreational (adult-use) cannabis sales to anyone 21+ with valid ID. Medical cards are not required.
