How to pick your first product

Don't start by reading labels. Start by telling your budtender how you want to feel. Relaxed? Energetic? Sleepy? Social? That's the most useful starting point.

From there, they'll narrow it down to a product type (flower, edible, vape, etc.) and recommend specific options within your budget.

The golden rule for beginners: start low, go slow.You can always take more. You can't take less. This applies to every product type.

Bring a valid 21+ government-issued photo ID — driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID. We will scan it at entry to confirm age, and you will need it again at the register before any product can be sold.

How much should I buy my first time?

Buy small. A pack of 2.5mg edibles, a single 0.5g pre-roll, or an eighth of mid-THC flower is plenty for a first visit — you can always come back. Spending less while you learn what works for your body is the right move.

Will the budtender help me choose?

Yes. Tell the budtender it is your first visit and they will walk you through every shelf, ask about the experience you want, and recommend low-dose, easy-to-use products.

What if I've never used cannabis before?

Tell us. Brand-new consumers should start with a 2.5mg edible, a CBD-forward tincture, or a single low-THC pre-roll, and use it at home with food and water nearby. Wait at least two hours before considering more — overconsumption almost always comes from impatience, not the initial dose.
